Our Rules
Best Of WAG
- Only the best score of each gymnast from qualification, team, all-around, and individual finals counts toward the new ultimate ranking.
All-around scores and rankings as well as individual apparatus placements are recalculated.
There is no “two-per-country” rule.
For each gymnast, it is shown which competition each apparatus score comes from.
For comparison, the original ranking from qualification and, if applicable, finals is also displayed.
Vault
- Only competitions where gymnasts perform two vaults (qualification and vault final) are considered.
The best first vault and best second vault are used.
A new final score is calculated if necessary.
Team
- Only the top three scores per apparatus and per team are counted.
A new team result is then calculated.
- Mixed finals are not recalculated, as we focus here only on Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. However, scores from the mixed final are used if they represent a gymnast’s best score of the entire competition.
